Introduction

Templegate Training Academy C.I.C (TTA) is a non-profit making Community Interest Company and an independent learning provider. We deliver adult education programmes in our main site in Wolverhampton and also have delivery locations in Birmingham and Bristol. All our learners are adults (aged 18+), with the highest numbers enrolled on Functional Skills, Business Administration, Digital Enterprise, NCFE Level 3 Diploma in Skills for Business: Human Resources, Adult Health Care programmes and ATHE Level 4 Diploma in Computing. TTA is funded by the Educational and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) to provide advanced learner loans and adult education budget programmes.

TTA’s vision is to engage and help the local people through training and education and provide a lifelong learning experience. We value our communities and put people first where everybody feels included in an open, welcoming, safe and supportive environment. Our commitment to equality and diversity underpins everything we do.

Our mission is to give communities and local organisations the chance to raise their goals and achievements through high quality and training. This will help and prepare adults by giving them a strong foundation that could lead them onto their chosen careers.

To develop the learners understanding of the course, through outstanding teaching and learning.

To develop the skills and learning experience by offering a positive and welcoming teaching process

To understand difficulties that learners may experience within the learning environment and provide support to the learners in a positive manner

To provide and develop positive attitudes towards learners so that the learner will maximise their achievements through using all the resources available

Support the improvement of all staff that focuses upon identified areas for development to provide a higher quality of service.
